Throughout the week this webcam located just across the Jackson Creek North Fork from Deltaville Boatyard will be showing live views of either the entrance channel to Jackson Creek or the Launch area at Deltaville Boatyard. When pointed at the entrance to Jackson Creek the sailing area is just to the right, partially out of the screen.

Opti Nationals LIVE on Sailgroove

Sailgroove.org is pleased to announce its planned LIVE coverage of the 2010 US Optimist Dinghy Association Layline National Championship from Fishing Bay Yacht Club in Deltaville, VA July 19-24.  Over 300 sailors will be competing in three events: Team Race Nationals (July 17-19), Girls Nationals (July 20), and Fleet Race Nationals (July 21-24.)

Sailgroove’s coverage will feature a high-quality live stream shot on the water using FloLive, the state-of-the-art web broadcast system that allows for broadband quality web streaming from the racecourse.  Sailgroove’s Chris Love and Taylor Maguire will bring the events to life with expert analysis and up-close interaction with the sailors.  Look for Olympic Gold Medalist Anna Tunnicliffe to make an appearance as she is slated to present the Girls National Championship trophy.
