The Coach or responsible person from each sailing association or Yacht club, will pick up his/her lunches for their entire club, and sign off on them.

The sandwiches will be placed in a large brown bag with each club name on the outside, waters will be handed out daily with lunches 1 bottle per competitor.

Officials will be able to pick up their lunches there daily as well.

We have compiled a list of 37 charter boats with licensed captains in the Deltaville area available to take visitors on race observation trips or fishing trips, or both. Most boats have comfortable head facilities as well as covered cockpits for shade, and some will provide meals if requested in advance. Many of the captains have enthusiastically offered their services for the Nationals. A selected list appears below, and a more extended list can be found at the charter captain’s association page for Virginia’s middle peninsula.

The Notice of Race for the Team Race Championship, Girls Championship and Fleet National Championship are now available and have been posted to the website.  Additionally Registration is now open through the USODA website.

The map has all the scrolling and zooming features of any Google Map, plus colored areas showing particular facilities, routes and areas. Click on each item for a pop-up description or use the legend to identify certain facilities. Zoom in and out using the plus and minus and scroll left and right. For basic orientation, the site is on Stingray Point in the Middle Chesapeake, between the mouths of the Piankatank and Rappahannock Rivers. It is on Jackson Creek at the bottom of Stingray Point in the Piankatank mouth. You will note quickly, that the regatta site is NOT at Fishing Bay Yacht Club (marked by the club burgee), but is across the creek on its north bank on the incomparable properties of various other local hosts for the regatta. Information for optimist charter boats has been posted. We have 3 companies currently planning on providing charters at the event. See our Charter Information page for links to each company’s website for their specific offerings and policies.

Accommodations include hotels, bed and breakfasts, dormitories, and camping.  This is a work in progress covering the nearest facilities.  Other facilities in the Williamsburg and Richmond areas will be listed later.  We’ll also be putting together a docking and anchorage guide for those wishing to bring boats that are too large to fit up Mill Creek to the coach boat anchorage.
