Outlook for Thursday, July 22

Today will be our second day of fleet racing. The sailors have been re-grouped into new divisions based on their finishes yesterday. We’ll start the day with a competitors’, skippers’, and coaches’ meeting, launch boats and go racing.

Sailgroove will be out on the water again broadcasting the racing live. We’ll be posting updates on twitter and keep an eye on the blog for updates.

This evening Christchurch school will be hosting a reception and competitors dinner for the sailors. We’ll have a DJ for some entertainment.

Weather

Today high of 92. Partly cloudy this morning clearing by mid afternoon with a change of afternoon thunderstorms. We’ll have light winds out of the North this morning and that should give way to a sea breeze out of the south, south-east this afternoon.

Water

The water temperature is 82.7. High tides are at 8:36am and 9:10pm. Low tide at 3pm.
